Being a 5 year old race car driver is a lot of fun. Some of the most rewarding things are the friends and relationships you make along the way. One of Colten Johnson’s best friends Jordan McLinn and his mom Laura have created a new foundation committed to finding a cure and supporting families affected by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a 100% fatal muscle wasting disease affecting 1 in 3,500 boys. The kickoff event will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday May 13th. It will be the official launch celebration for the Best Day Ever Foundation. It will be a fun family event at the new Indianapolis Professional Firefighters Local Union 416, located at 748 Massachusetts Ave. It will be an exciting evening which will include food, drinks, live music, fun activities for kids, silent auction and a special presentation.
Colt and Jordan really enjoy their time together and Colt is proud to carry the Best Day Ever Foundation with him every race. It’s fun to see how the both of them get along and play together when time permits for both of them. Colt will be racing on May 13th with full support going to the BDEF Kick Off Event.

Colt’s next racing action will be at North Carolina Quarter Midget Association on Saturday May 13th, if you can’t make it to the BDEF Event then come out and cheer him on. Admission is always free and there is always plenty of racing action.

Best Day Ever Foundation is committed to finding a cure and supporting families affected by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a 100% fatal muscle wasting disease affecting 1 in 3,500 boys. These boys have an average life expectancy of about 20 years but for the first time in history we are living in a time in which there are multiple treatments coming up through the pipeline that can slow the progression of the disease.
